Volunteerism contributes to fulfilling The Guild's mission to support the Charlotte Symphony and music education.
Dear Symphony Guild Members:
This
year we are focused on achieving a higher level of volunteerism among
our membership and striving for more involvement as programs get
scheduled again. The new, CSO-required process of a
background check and attending two training sessions
is an important step to protect the safety of children under the age of
18 who attend our events, such as the Young Artists Competition.
In order to be eligible to participate, the CSO requires this process for all volunteers; however, at NO COST to Guild members. The CSO has addressed frequently asked questions about this process HERE.
Personal information retained through the process will be kept on an encrypted, secure platform,
which will be sent to you separately via an email from Kirsten Morris,
CSO VP of Human Resources. The private information will be securely
maintained by the CSO.
We are in need of members to
volunteer for activities over the next year as we currently have only a
few who have signed up. Our goal is to have a Volunteer Group
ready to participate in several activities per year. We encourage you
to be part of the Volunteer Group by registering and completing the
requirements for eligibility.

THANK YOU!!!
