Happy New Year Guild Members!

We continue our Adventures in Music theme this year with many ways for you to be involved and engage in volunteering. Together we make an impact in our community and to the CSO.

This month's Presto highlights some of our events and other endeavors. Come join us!

Membership

We held our Holiday Social on December 11 at the Jerald Melberg Gallery, and had a wonderful time in the holiday spirit with Guild friends and guests.

More than 40 attendees enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres by Roots Catering, plus fun door prizes were handed out to lucky winners. It was great to socialize with members in such a nice environment.

Membership Directory 2022 - 2023

The 2022 - 2023 Membership Directories have been printed and sent to all Patrons. There are additional directories available for members at $5.00 each.

Mahjong Tournament

Back by popular demand, we are holding a Mahjong tournament on Friday, January 27! Don't miss out on the return of this fun event to play your best hand with Guild friends at The Cypress of Charlotte from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Check out details and register HERE.

Winter Membership Meeting

Our Winter Membership Meeting is just around the corner! We will be holding a lovely luncheon on Tuesday, February 7 at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant in SouthPark. Come join us from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm and visit with Guild members while learning more about our upcoming activities. Register and see more details HERE.

Member Appreciation - Save the Date

As a token of appreciation, The Charlotte Symphony has invited all Guild members to use a special 25% discount for the CSO performance of The Bruch Violin Concerto at the Knight Theater on Friday, February 24 or Saturday, February 25.

The Guild is sponsoring the concert both nights so feel free to use the Code: GUILD25 when purchasing tickets for either night. (Saturday is a Charlotte soccer game, so bear in mind the parking) We look forward to you joining us for this wonderful occasion. More details will follow soon.

Taste of the Tour Party, March 29th
Heart of the Home Tour, March 31st - April 1st

Plans are underway for our signature fundraiser events and we are very excited about their return. Many volunteer opportunities will be available for both the TOT Party and the HOH Tour. The Fundraiser Committee is working hard to pull all the details together. More information will be coming soon. Mark your calendars for these popular events - you don't want to miss out!

Volunteers Needed

Don't forget to volunteer for our Donor Services Table. We have plenty of openings for you to choose from and not only represent The Guild but also attend the concert. This volunteer role is very important and beneficial to both The Guild and the CSO. Please sign-up via the link - CSO Concerts, and take advantage of this great season of performances. Thank you!

We have completed a very successful first half of our 2022 - 2023 Guild Year and are looking forward to all the "Friend Raising and Fund Raising Opportunities" in the second half of this year.
