Hello Guild Members,

We are happy to welcome everyone back and introduce this year's theme, "Adventures in Music," for our upcoming activities, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities. Take a look at my video and read more to learn about the many ways to engage with our wonderful organization and the CSO this year.

Board Meetings

All Board Meetings are open to the membership. Please notify
Jenny Tolson if you would like to attend so we can prepare seating and handouts for you. There will be a Zoom option, and we can send you the Zoom Link.

Board Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month beginning September through May (except December) from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Heritage Room, 3115 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC, 28211.

Dates are: 9/13, 10/11, 11/8, 1/10, 2/14, 3/14, 4/11, and 5/9.

Fall Membership Meeting: September 27, 2022, 5:30 - 7:30 pm, Linda Weisbruch's home, 918 Ardsley Road Charlotte, NC 28211

Holiday Social: December 11, 2022, 4:30 - 6:30 pm, Melberg Gallery, 625 S. Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, NC 28211

Winter Membership Meeting: February 7, 2023, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Maggiano's Restaurant, 4400 Sharon Road Charlotte, NC 28211

Annual Spring Membership Meeting: May 17, 2023, 5:30 - 7:30 pm, The Morehead Inn, 1122 Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC 28204

Volunteer Opportunities

We are creating more opportunities for members to volunteer this year. Stay tuned to sign-up for engaging programs including:

CSO Concerts - Guild Donor Services Table - see the link for opportunities to signup and let the SGC office know your interest.
CSO Office Assistance - help staff with mass mailings.
CSYO - Musical Petting Zoo
CSYO - Young Artists Competition

Fundraising

This year promises to be exciting with several fundraising events.
Be sure to join us for the following occasions:

Overture Luncheon, October 25, 2022, Providence Methodist Church, 2810 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211 - Host a table and/or attend.

Beat Beethoven Virtual 5K Race, November 17-18, 2022, Participate in the walk/run and assist with handing out race packets.

Mahjong Tournament, Date and Time: TBD in January, Southminster Retirement Community, 8919 Park Road Charlotte, NC 28210

Heart of The Home Tour, March 31 - April 1, 2023, Locations: TBD, Many volunteers are needed for the return of this signature event.
