Young Artists Competition

Winter Membership Meeting

You will not want to miss our Winter Membership Meeting on Tuesday, February 22, at Rooster's restaurant in SouthPark. Our featured speaker, CSO Musician Jeremy Lamb, will share with us about the piece he composed to be performed at the Holst Concert in May. Join us from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm and visit with Guild members while learning more about our upcoming activities. Register HERE.

Shimmer and Shine Fundraiser

This new fundraiser is a chance to donate your unwanted gold and sterling silver jewelry in any condition as well as other sterling silver pieces. For delivery of your items, please contact Melissa McCrory to coordinate pick-up or drop-off. You can also bring your donations to the Winter Membership Meeting on February 22, which is the last day that donations can be accepted. Proceeds will go to Youth Music Education and the CSO's many community initiatives. Click the graphic link to our webpage with more information.

Membership Directory 2023 - 2024

The 2023 - 2024 Symphony Guild Membership Directories are printed and available for members. We will be handing them out at the upcoming Winter Membership Meeting on February 22. You can also reach out to the Guild office if you would like one sent to you.

Heart of the Home Tour Next Month

Our Signature Fundraiser, The Heart of the Home Tour, will be held on March 22 and 23. Featuring five beautiful homes, this year's tour promises to be the best ever.

This year, for an additional fee, tour goers have a special opportunity to attend a VIP Event at the home of Honorary Chair Natalie Papier. Check out tickets HERE.

SPECIAL PERFORMANCE

Join the upcoming Chamber Music for All concert featuring CSO Concert Master, Calin Lupanu and CSO Violinist, Monica Boboc as well as other musicians. This concert promises to be a special treat with Piano Trios in C Minor performing works by Grieg, Shostakovich and Mendelssohn on March 17, 3:00 pm, at Steinway Piano Gallery, 7030 Smith Corners Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28269.

Volunteer at The Guild Table at CSO Concerts

Don't forget to volunteer for our Donor Services Table. We still have CSO concert openings to represent The Guild in addition to attending the concert. This volunteer role is very important and beneficial to The Guild and the CSO. Please sign-up for a CSO Concert, and take advantage of the remaining season of performances.

Audition Volunteer Opportunities

There are exciting opportunities ahead for Guild Members to volunteer with the CSO when auditions will be held for CSO members this Spring. Here are the tentative dates and times: (Note: Once dates are finalized, a signup link will be sent to Guild Members)

Horn Audition at CPCC Halton
Sunday, March 24th: 1 - 10 pm
Monday, March 25th: all day
Tuesday, March 26th: all day

Bassoon Audition at St Luke's Lutheran Church
Sunday, April 7th: 7 am - 7 pm
Monday, April 8th: 7 am - 7 pm
Tuesday, April 9th: 7 am - 7 pm

Looking forward to all the memory-making events that are to come this Spring as we gather with our members to: volunteer with the Heart of the Home Tour, celebrate our new members, honor our Patrons, honor a CSO musician, and lend a hand to the CSO with various community events.
